ջ of Canada in Regina, Saskatchewan is excited to continue its science outreach partnership with Let’s Talk Science. ջ of Canada is a leader in Indigenous education and we are excited to take part in Let’s Talk Science’s impactful STEM programming in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories, and beyond. We maintain strong relationships with First Nations Elders and other Indigenous Knowledge keepers to better understand Indigenous Science, experiential learning and important oral traditions.
The partnership between LTS and ջ of Canada creates an opportunity to work with Indigenous students, communities and education centres throughout Saskatchewan, combining Indigenous Knowledge and STEM for the benefit of primary and secondary students within Regina and in surrounding communities. Let’s Talk Science Outreach sites are encouraged to undertake outreach projects with Indigenous youth, with a focus on youth impact, community collaboration, training for volunteers, and sustainability of the relationship with the community.
